WHAT WE BELIEVE

Statement of Faith on What We Believe, Teach, Preach and Minister

This church accepts the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts the following statement of fundamental truths and Statement of Faith:

• We believe...The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  
  
• We believe...That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  
  
• We believe...In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal, visible, future return to this earth in power and glory to receive to Himself His blood-bought church that it may be with Him forever. 
  
  
• We believe...That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
  
  
• We believe...​ That regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
  
  
• We believe...In the present sanctifying power and ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly and holy life.
  
  
• We believe...In the baptism with the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts,  according to Acts 2:4, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, is given to Believers who ask for it.
  
  
• We believe...In the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and that it provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
  
  

• We believe...In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of everlasting life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of everlasting damnation.
  
  
• We believe...In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

• We believe...In water baptism by immersion and observance of the Lord’s Supper. 
  
  
• We believe...In Bringing Tithes, Offerings and Gifts of love into the Church of Jesus Christ, based on Malachi 3:3-11, This is God’s Giving Plan Begins with Tithing, GOD’S ABUNDANCE/SEED FAITH. God actually invites people to try (prove) Him—to verify His trustworthiness with their giving. He says that by withheld giving we rob Him of the privilege of pouring out great and overflowing blessings. He calls for renewed giving with this promise. 

             First, there will be “food” or resources for God’s work (“in My house”).

                Second, He says those who give will be placed in position to receive great, overflowing
                blessings. 

               Third, God says that He will “rebuke the devourer” for your sakes. Satan himself cannot
                stop it.

​               Nothing will keep a wise believer from tithing and giving, but he or she will never be
               found to tithe or give offerings just to get something in return. Rather, the act arises
               from obedience, and God always rewards obedience. Do not be afraid to prove God with
              your giving; He is God, and He will stand the test every time.

              Those who do not Tithe are not under a curse, based on Galatians 3:13.
             All giving is based on giving with a cheerful heart. We believe in Galatians 6:7-9,
            2nd Corinthians 9:6-6, 9:6. God loves cheerful givers!
