ISRAEL IS GOD'S TIMECLOCK FOR THE WORLD - 10/9/23
We can tell where we are on the prophetic timeline by what is happening in Israel. All prophecies in the Bible were written by Jews and primarily concerned with Jerusalem and Israel. The events that are happening today are heartbreaking. Men and women dying. Abductions. Terror. We are getting ever closer to the end of this age...
What happens in Israel will affect the world. How the United States responds will affect us as a country and individuals. God clearly said in Gen. 12:3 that "whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed."
What is transpiring today is just one more step toward the great Gog-Magog War that is prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39. This prophecy states that at some point, Russia, Iran, Turkey, Sudan, Libya and their allies will form a great coalition and attack Israel on her northern border.
We know Iran has funded, facilitated and provoked what is happening, and it is suspected that Russia is also at work behind the scenes. There are others as well. The enemy is emboldened and making its moves. Israel may suffer but she will never be taken again.
After the seven years of Tribulation (yet to take place but signs fulfilled show it must be close), Jesus Christ will return to Mt. Olivet with all of the Redeemed to rule and reign from Jerusalem forever - first for the 1,000-year millennium and then for eternity with the Father. All Jews who are still living at that time will be saved.
WHY SHOULD CHRISTIANS LOVE AND PRAY FOR ISRAEL?
Jesus Christ was born, raised, ministered, was crucified, resurrected and ascended into Heaven in Israel. Israel gave us the prophets, scriptures and the apostles. The Holy Spirit was poured out on new believers in Jerusalem. The early church was born in Jerusalem. Israel is the "apple of God's eye." Jesus loves Israel.
The Church did not replace Israel as we see absolutely in Romans 11 and other Scriptures. The church is privileged to be "grafted into the vine." Israel will be the Christian's FOREVER HOME. Jerusalem will be our headquarters. In Psalm 122:6, we read, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They will prosper who love thee."
Surely, Jesus is coming soon!
Pray for Israel!
