1. PURPOSE OF THE RESURRECTION

“Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.”
The Resurrection validates justification—proving that the payment for sin was accepted and righteousness is now imparted to believers.

2. 1 Corinthians 15:17 (NKJV)
“And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!”
>The Resurrection is the cornerstone of salvation; without it, redemption collapses entirely.

3. John 11:25 (NKJV)
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.’”
>The Resurrection reveals Christ as life itself—both present and eternal.

4. Acts 2:24 (NKJV)
“Whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.”
>Death could not hold Christ—His divine nature ensured victory over the grave.

5. Romans 6:4 (NKJV)
“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

“Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied…”
>"Prolong His days” points to resurrection life after sacrifice.

“After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight.”
>A clear prophetic pattern of third-day resurrection.

4. Jonah 1:17 (NKJV)
“Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.”
> Identified this as a type of His burial and resurrection (Matt. 12:40).

5. Psalm 2:7 (NKJV)
“I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You.’”

10 Confessions to Activate the Resurrection Power of God In Your Life
When God created us, He made us in His image. As He is three in one—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit--
we also are three in one—spirits that live in bodies and have souls. Our spirits are the real us, and they actually keep our bodies alive.
Proverbs 18:14 bears this out saying, “The spirit of a man will sustain him [his body] in his infirmity” (KJV).

Consequently, when our spirits leave our bodies, our bodies die. Dying is that easy. It makes sense, then, that God’s Word—which strengthens and gives life to our spirits—can in turn affect our bodies.

Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (KJV).

In this passage, the word mortal, according to Webster’s Dictionary, means “subject to death.”

When the Apostle Paul wrote those words, he was not referring to the glorious bodies we will be receiving when Jesus returns.
He was speaking of our current bodies, here and now. Add to that the word quicken, which, also according to Webster’s, in part means “to give or restore vigor or activity to; to stir up, to rouse, to stimulate, revive, restore to life.”

Within these words we have God’s promise that He will “quicken our mortal flesh,” meaning He will enliven our bodies by the very resurrection power of the Holy Spirit who abides within our spirits.

God wants us to live out His promise to us—by faith. And the way we activate our faith is by speaking it each and every day—by speaking life!

Consider these 10 Confessions
To Activate the Resurrection Power of God In Your Life, so you can live life to the full and walk in the abundant life God planned for you (John 10:9-10).

1. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of every sickness; therefore, it has no place in my life (Deuteronomy 28:61; Galatians 3:13).
2. Jesus Himself took all my sickness, weaknesses and pain. He bore all my diseases, so I don’t have to bear them (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16-17).
3. Because of the stripes that Jesus bore for me on the cross, I am the healed (1 Peter 2:24).
4. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget none of His benefits. He redeems my life from the pit and corruption. He beautifies me and crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercy. He forgives all my iniquities and heals all my diseases (Psalm 103:2-3).
5. Bless the Lord, O my soul, who satisfies my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s. I am strong, overcoming and soaring (Psalm 103:1, 3-5, AMPC).
6. I guard my heart, because out of it flows the issues of life. I pay attention to God’s words and keep them in my heart, because they are life to me and health to my body. I walk in divine health (Proverbs 4:20-23).
7. The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, and He quickens my mortal body (Romans 8:11).
8. The God of peace Himself sanctifies me through and through. He separates me from profane things and makes me pure. I am wholly consecrated to God. My spirit, soul and body are preserved sound and complete for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23, AMPC).
9. The Word says that the prayer of faith shall save the sick; therefore the Lord will raise me up (James 5:14-16, KJV).
10. Above all, I prosper and am in good health. I stay well (3 John 2).

Imagine if we were to start everyday with these 10 Confessions To Activate the Resurrection Power of God In Your Life!
This is how God wants us to approach Him—with His Word and in faith.
This is how God wants us to live—believing Him for His many promises by speaking them over our lives in faith.
This is how He wants us activating His resurrection power in our lives each and every day!
